The diffusion of computing technology in every aspect of human life is a major development in recent history. In less than a decade, we've seen a rapid evolution of social media from a mere curiosity to an indispensable tool for private and public expression. Indeed, it has become a global phenomenon. Like it or not, we all have a digital self, a mask we put on to engage the technological world.
