For many years, I have constantly asked myself: Irene, what is your purpose? The truth is that each season of my life, my journey had a different purpose. Now, as a student, my main purpose is to study to achieve something more in life. As an achiever I made myself believe in my skills. I also made my parents and family to trust me more in terms of my study. In this picture, I am with my grandfather. He always tells me to be good at my studies. It may seem like he is a strict grandfather however, he also told me to make myself comfortable and not forget to enjoy the things that I learned. He is the person who doesn’t stop believing me even with my failures. All my achievements were all because of him. I won’t get through this all if no one is there to believe and support me in anything I wanted to do. There’s nothing like the feeling of earning a medal. Receiving a medal means that you have done something special or highlight something special that we have done. These represents all the time, energy, sweat and risk we put into achieving something that is greater than what we expected to achieve in life. This is like our reward in terms of recognizing the excellence we showed and preserve the memory of any notable event. Good memories were reflected with those medals of ours. (Picture is not mine) One of the moments in life that we have all experienced, with either a feeling of great accomplishment or one of unnerving dread is graduation. In my opinion, graduation is the closing of one chapter and the opening of a completely new one. Yes, it can be cliché and redundant, but it instructs us on one of life’s greatest lessons, which is to appreciate and cherish every moment of our lives. For the special people on the photo, I can assure them that the moments that we’ve spent together will forever be cherished and will leave a part in my heart. This is the part where transitions of our lives happen. These transitions are often the most difficult parts of our lives to navigate, as there are no clear rules for wading through the waters of uncertainty. However, one thing is for sure. We can move on to our next journey with the new people that we will encounter and soon be part of our lives.
